Luxury Travel Advisor’s First Co-Located, Luxury-Focused Events Open in Palm Beach

Questex Travel Group, publisher of the travel industry’s only luxury-focused publication, Luxury Travel Advisor, opened its first co-located luxury events ULTRA Summit and ULTRA Wellness yesterday at the Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa in Manalapan, FL.

Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Summit is an exclusive event that brings together luxury travel agency owners and managers with the most opulent luxury suppliers for two and a half days of collaboration, connection, and innovation.

ULTRA Wellness comes on the heels of the enormous growth of the wellness travel marketplace, currently a $563 billion industry that is expected to reach $808 billion by 2020, according to the Global Wellness Institute.

“There is incredible growth in wellness travel and as the leader in travel advisor education, we want to arm our audience with the latest information so they can stay ahead of the curve and best leverage this burgeoning vertical,” said Ruthanne Terrero, vice president of content and editorial director for Luxury Travel Advisor.

This event will bring tangible revenue opportunities to the forefront for advisors who influence affluent luxury wellness travelers, and luxury supplier brands who identify as wellness products including hotels, cruise lines, and destinations with wellness programs and itineraries as well as of course, spas.

Elements of both events will include up to 20 one-to-one appointments between suppliers and advisors, valuable conference content curated by Luxury Travel Advisor and American Spa magazines, and multiple networking meals and receptions including the exquisite Luxury Travel Advisor’s Awards of Excellence reception which will take place tonight at The Breakers Palm Beach, who is also sponsoring this reception in partnership with Discover the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach International Airport, and the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County.
