Klimak, president of Largay Travel, just returned from Classic Vacations' E3 Conference in Hawaii, where she participated in a panel, as well as two peer-to-peer trainings on growing your luxury business. The format, which was designed for advisors who were new to the industry, was refreshing, she says. Read her report here:
This past September, I had the honor of being asked to present at the Classic Vacations E3 Summit in Hawaii. The "E3" stands for Elite, Education, Experience and my topic to share was "Building Your Luxury Business," which is one I love to present and share. I have always been a big supporter of Classic Vacations, which is why I agreed to attend and I'm so glad I did. The learning and sharing I did while there was beyond anything I could have imagined.
With a group of fewer than 50 advisors and a total attendance of under 100, this small, intimate event is sure to turn out some travel superstars. Melissa Krueger, Classic's director of sales, and her team have truly created an event that brings together advisors who are new to the industry to promote entrepreneurship, brand building and expert positioning. The keynote speakers (Kelly Clements, Chelsea Shukov and Hillary Hamilton, while the workshop facilitators were Jim Augerinos, Amanda Klimak and Jennifer Brown) they chose were not your typical travel industry speakers, but successful, dynamic people from other industries who shared their own personal experiences as they built their own brand and business.
The personal enrichment, learning and networking were truly magical at this three-day event and was well worth the time and effort to attend. As much as the Classic Vacations team talked about their products and programs and the supplier partners shared their insight and knowledge, the personal development aspect to this event was very, very unique and special.
I would highly recommend this conference and hope to be invited again in 2019.
