With Ireland's Ashford Castle fresh off a $75 million dollar two-year renovation, Sceptre Tours is spotlighting the property in many of its Ireland packages this year.
Paula Carroll, director of marketing and sales at Ashford Castle, said, "The renovation at Ashford Castle preserved the historic elements of the 800-year-old 350-acre property, while adding new amenities including a movie theater, billiards room, cigar terrace, lakeside cottage, boutique wine cellars for private dining, and a children's game room."
Additionally, all 82 guestrooms and suites, as well as all public areas, were redesigned, using antiques, original art and modern technology. The outdoor areas were also expanded, including the School of Falconry, the equestrian center, the nine-hole golf course, tennis courts and the only Orvis-endorsed fishing property in Ireland. This July, a spa with five treatment rooms; an indoor, ozone-filtrated swimming pool; and a gym will open.

Travelers can also combine a Sceptre package which features a stay at Ashford Castle with rates on Aer Lingus Business Class airfare.
Package rates are based on select departures and require a seven-day advance purchase and include roundtrip economy class airfare, including carrier and government-imposed taxes and fees, including the September 11th Security Fee of $5.60 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport.
