Flynas Begins Twice-Weekly Services Between Cairo and AlUla

Flynas, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier recently launched its newest direct flight between AlUla and Cairo. The low-cost airline now connects both the ancient cities. In an effort to continue growing AlUla into a globally accessible destination, Flynas will operate two weekly direct flights between AlUla and Cairo, scheduled on every Saturday and Thursday, from AlUla International Airport to Cairo International Airport.

As the inaugural flight carrier, Flynas has made international travel from the U.S. to AlUla easier with flight options available from the U.S. to Dubai. Additionally, the airline recently announced the resumption of its flights from AlUla to Riyadh, Dammam and Dubai, with two weekly flights for each destination.

With the new Emirates Airline code-share partnership with Flydubai, creating expanded accessibility to direct flights from Washington D.C., Los Angeles and New York City, travelers can visit the ancient lands of AlUla and embark on a new journey that offers a range of natural wonders waiting to be explored.

Upon arrival, travelers can explore lesser-known heritage sites including Hegra—Petra’s sister city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. AlUla also welcomes new luxury hotel openings from Habitas AlUla and Accor Banyan Tree, besides major entertainment events, during its festival season (from December to March) that brings to life unique celebrations such as “Desert X” and “Winter at Tantora,” and performances at Maraya Concert Hall, which holds the current Guinness World Record as the world’s largest mirror-clad building.

Flights are also offered via Saudi Airlines, Emirates, Qatar, and Flynas.
