Internova Travel Group has announced changes to the executive ranks in its Global Travel Collection (GTC) and Bonotel Exclusive Travel brands. Simon Brooks, who previously served as president of Bonotel Exclusive Travel, is now senior vice president, advisor success for Global Travel Collection.

In his new role, Brooks oversees GTC’s advisor success organization, which provides comprehensive support to travel advisors, helping them increase revenue and implementing tools and resources that will diversify their businesses. He takes over from Jason Oshiokpekhai, who will be leaving GTC to pursue a new business venture later this year.

Before joining Bonotel in 2022, Brooks was chief commercial officer for The Icons Series, a sports events business. He also has more than 20 years of experience in the airline industry, including serving as senior vice president of sales North America for British Airways.

“We’re delighted to welcome Simon Brooks to our team,” said Angie Licea, president of GTC, Internova’s high-service premium and luxury travel division, serving clients in the luxury leisure, corporate and entertainment sectors. “His extensive experience with Bonotel and in the airline industry gives him a unique perspective on our business. Bonotel is known for its high standards and the wide variety of travel services it provides to clients [and] Simon will play a crucial role in helping our travel advisors grow their businesses by strengthening relationships with supplier partners and offering clients exciting new luxury travel experiences.”

Kyle Remp, previously vice president of technology for Bonotel, has taken over Brooks’ role as president. Bonotel is a leading inbound marketing and distribution partner of both branded and boutique luxury hotel rooms to a longstanding base of international business-to-business clients. He began his career at Bonotel in 2016 as a project manager for digital experiences. Previously, he worked as a consultant and software developer and as a business systems analyst/project manager for Diamond Resorts International.

In his new role, Remp reports to John Lovell, president of Travel Leaders Network.

“Kyle’s experience in developing and implementing innovative technology, his knowledge of digital transformation and strong leadership skills make him an excellent choice as President of Bonotel,” Lovell said. “This promotion is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work, dedication and the significant impact he has had on the company’s growth and success.”
