Crystal Renews Platinum Partnership with ASTA

Crystal has announced that it has renewed its Platinum Level Partnership with the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). The organization is the world’s largest association of travel professionals and travel agent advocates, with chapters operating globally in support of agents who specialize in selling tours, cruises, hotels, air travel and more.

“The global advocacy efforts that ASTA employs on behalf of travel professionals are astounding, and we are proud to renew our support of this organization’s mission, as we work together toward the common goal of furthering the progress of the travel industry,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal’s senior vice president of marketing and sales.

Through this partnership, Crystal participates in annual ASTA events, including its Global Convention, which brings together professionals from more than 100 countries. The affiliation with ASTA also enables travel professionals from agencies and companies of all sizes throughout the world to access information and materials from Crystal through ASTA’s marketing initiatives and communications.

The Crystal Experience – including global journeys with Crystal Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises, Crystal AirCruises and Crystal Luxury Air – offers passengers luxury travel with personalized service. Crystal will expand its fleet with the upcoming Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel river ships, the Crystal Endeavor expedition yacht, and an entirely new class of ocean ships over the next five years.

American Society of Travel Agents members represent 80 percent of all travel sold in the United States through the travel agency distribution channel. Together with hundreds of internationally based members, it is a global advocate for travel agents, the travel industry and the traveling public. ASTA’s history of travel industry advocacy traces back to its founding in 1931, when it launched with the mission to facilitate the business of selling travel through effective representation, shared knowledge and the enhancement of professionalism.
