Luxury cruise line Cunard will launch its new spa concept Mareel Wellness & Beauty aboard the refurbished Queen Elizabeth this month. Other treatment highlights will include the Taste the Ocean Fully Body Experience, Organic Seaweed Leaf Wrap, Luminescence Massage and Age-Defying Restorative Facial.

The new brand will provide a holistic focus with a menu of mineral-rich seawater and marine-based experiences. Mareel Wellness & Beauty will bring a new range of luxury products from Red Flower, Shankara and Environ that feature organic ingredients that are sustainably harvested, wild-picked, biodynamic and toxin-free.

As part of a ship-wide renovation this November, the Queen Elizabeth will also feature a refurbished spa facility. Changes include a new couples suite for seaweed bathing ritual, a meditation room with acoustic resonance loungers, a redesigned multifunctional fitness center and studio space and sound therapy facilities in every treatment room.

Cunard’s new Mareel Wellness & Beauty program will eventually roll out across the company’s entire fleet. The Queen Victoria is expected to shortly follow the Queen Elizabeth and Cunard’s flagship liner Queen Mary 2 will receive the updates in November 2020.
