The Berkeley to Relaunch Festive Rooftop Winter Cinema

The Berkeley’s Health Club, overlooking the rooftops of Knightsbridge and Hyde Park, will once again transform its secret garden into a festive forest cinema this winter. Guests will be treated to Christmas classics on the big screen whilst relaxing between heated velvet and fleece blankets. Homemade hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies along with twinkling lights and lanterns complete the festive atmosphere. Screenings at the Rooftop Winter Cinema will take place from December 1-31, 2018.

Adding a touch of rustic chic are four handmade wooden chalet-inspired cabins, custom made to fit two guests. Wrapped up in heated blankets, guests will watch classics such as the black and white original “Miracle on 34th Street” and “The Nutcracker”. Towering above Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland, this pine-lined outdoor theater is London’s only rooftop private cinema accommodating just eight guests per viewing.

The Winter Cinema will offer two viewings daily at 5:15 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. available at £75 (approximately $96) per person and includes mulled wine, hot chocolate complete with melted marshmallows and cream and home-made mince pies. Children are welcome and can also enjoy some specially created Christmas biscuits, gingerbread men and hot chocolate at £55 (approximately $70) per child.

A festive movie menu has been especially created for guests should they wish to choose some additional snacks before the show begins, offering home-made Christmas market items such as Hot Dogs, Angus Beef Sliders, Christmas Cookies and a selection of drinks including Champagne, wine and Berkeley beer.
