Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet Enters a New Era

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet has reopened following a property-wide transformation. Surrounded by views of the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Marmara Sea, the hotel offers a central location for exploring Istanbul’s heritage.

The interiors of Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet have been revamped by design studio Goddard Littlefair. “Our designers researched styling, pattern and details from antiques, fabrics and architecture and distilled these influences through a contemporary filter to create designs that feel completely in tune with the building and setting,” said Martin Goddard, director and co-founder of Goddard Littlefair.

All 65 guestrooms of the hotel have been refurbished. Visitors will enjoy engaging experiences through the retail shops in the lobby area, displaying the city’s culture and heritage. Seating areas spill out onto the newly landscaped terrace, which has been designed to create zones for dining and lounging. From breakfast to dinner, different experiences will be offered throughout the day. The culinary team, led by Turkish Executive Chef Özgür Üstün, will offer Anatolian cuisine at the new AVLU Restaurant.

The property’s rooftop bar, Süreyya, offers views of the surrounding landmarks, as well as the silhouette of the Old City. Lingo Lingo, the hotel’s new bar, is adjacent to a private dining space that serves seafood mezze (it is also suitable for private functions). Other amenities include a bijou luxury spa, Turkish barber, beauty salon and gym.

On the ground level of the hotel, the function spaces have been completely remodeled. The ballroom will benefit from enhanced acoustics and lighting, along with features embedded in the architecture, besides decorative elements. With ample indoor and outdoor spaces, the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet is ideal for weddings, corporate retreats and social gatherings.

Deal: As part of its reopening celebrations, the hotel is offering a “Welcome Back” package. It includes 10 percent discount on room rate for two, with minimum three nights' stay, and $100 hotel credit per stay from August 1 to September 30, 2022.
