AKA Smyth Tribeca, located at 85 West Broadway between Warren and Chambers Street, formerly known as the Smyth - a Thompson Hotel, was purchased in December of last year by Korman Communities in partnership with Shorewood Real Estate Group LLC and Prodigy Network.

Additionally, James Beard-award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini’s restaurant Little Park remains on the ground level. Little Park serves American dishes with a European flair for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Little Park team will continue to manage the lobby bar and provide in-room dining, private dining and catering for meetings in the 1,200-square-foot penthouses. Additionally, Little Park has a private event dining room available for large parties and corporate meetings, with custom chef-designed menus and personalized service.

The suites with terraces are very popular.

While many of the hotel’s core attributes will be staying intact, AKA will be infusing the property with several brand elements. More announcements about the plans for the hotel are to come.
