Montage Healdsburg Accepting Reservations for Late Fall

Located on 258 acres of vineyards and oak tree groves, the Montage Healdsburg is now accepting reservations with the “Spirit of Now” offering. With “Spirit of Now,” guests enjoy a complimentary upgrade at the time of check-in, no deposit required at booking and waived cancellation fees up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Additionally, depending on the room category booked, guests will receive up to a $300 daily resort credit for use toward dining, treatments at Spa Montage, recreational experiences throughout the property and more.

Accommodations

The 130 bungalow-style guestrooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the surrounding heritage oak forest; marble bathrooms appointed with a bathtub and separate walk-in shower; and custom-made honor bars. All guestroom patios have day beds, lounges and chairs; many additionally have a fire pit.

The crème de la crème is The Guest House. The modern retreat has three bedrooms and more than 4,600 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor space. Elevated on a hill, The Guest House has views of Mount Saint Helena and the vineyards of the Alexander Valley. Gardens connect one room to another; there is also a large outdoor hot tub.

Dining

Montage Healdsburg offers a variety of dining experiences. Signature restaurant Hazel Hill serves California cuisine with French influence, highlighting locally sourced ingredients. It includes an al fresco dining area and wine bar. As the lobby centerpiece, Scout Field Bar serves cocktails, local craft beers and French-infused bites to share. Live music and a glowing fireplace set the mood for pre-dinner cocktails or evening nightcaps. For those lounging poolside, the seasonal Hudson Springs Bar and Grill has a menu of fresh seafood, as well as other classic poolside fare and a selection of cocktails.

The resort also offers the Healdsburg Country Store, a gourmet grab-and-go market where guests can find locally made goods and specialty foods, such as coffees, pastries, salads, sandwiches, fresh-pressed juices, regional wines and gifts.

Wine

Montage Healdsburg is a great “launching pad” to discover the wineries in the Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley appellations. Through a handful of partnerships, guests can discover the craft of winemaking through private tastings and tours.

The resort itself has 13 acres of vineyards, all overseen by partner and winemaker Jesse Katz. Malbec, Merlot, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown on-property and bottled at Katz’s Aperture Cellars Winery Production Building, located just six miles from the property. Exclusive to guests of Montage Healdsburg is the opportunity to join Katz for tastings at Aperture Cellars winery.

Spa Montage

The 11,500- square-foot Spa Montage Healdsburg offers an array of services and amenities, including 11 treatment rooms, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, a zero-edge pool, the full-service Salon Montage and the Yoga Garden situated within the vineyards. Guests can enjoy a fully immersive wine country workout via the resort’s partnership with Corc Yoga, offering 100 percent sustainably sourced cork yoga mats. A variety of advanced facial therapies by Valmont are also available.

Experiences

The resort offers a bee apiary, offering guests an up-close view into the working world of bees. Montage Healdsburg also has on-property bocce ball, pickleball courts and archery. Compass Sports offers road bike rentals, in partnership with SCOTT, as well as E-bikes. Additional off-property recreation includes watersports along the Russian River, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, zip lining, rock climbing, helicopter tours and hot air balloon rides over the vineyards.
