Raffles Set to Unveil Three New Properties in 2024

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the expansion of its portfolio with new openings in key international destinations, including Sentosa Island, Singapore; Jaipur, India; and Al Areen, Bahrain.

The recently opened Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is the country’s first and only all-villa property yet, offering a private experience for guests in addition to culinary offerings, well-being spaces and gardens. Striking art, created in collaboration with local artists, adorns the restaurants and public spaces. Each of the 78 secluded private pool villas with one-, two- or three-bedroom configurations, offers space of 4,305 square feet or more; all include Raffles signature butler service. Pretty cool: A palace botanist is on hand to host workshops for guests, from organic gardening to tree planting, date picking and learning about healing herbs. Guests can also book well-being villas, an offering designed to provide secluded wellness experiences.

Following the debut of Raffles Udaipur in 2021, the brand is set to debut in Jaipur this spring. Raffles Jaipur will be an intimate collection of just 50 suites, with many offering jacuzzis and private pools. Guests can expect a variety of dining options, as well as a 6,673-square-foot spa, indoor pool and rooftop garden. Raffles Jaipur will also have a holistic wellness program curated in collaboration with India’s foremost wellness masters.

The original Raffles Hotel in Singapore opened its doors in 1887. Expected to open late fall this year, Raffles Singapore Sentosa is set to expand on this legacy with a 62-villa resort overlooking Tanjong Beach on the southern tip of Sentosa Island. The property will have a spa dedicated to regenerative wellness. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, the resort will invite guests to explore more than 24 acres of gardens, offering a relaxing retreat for global travelers and a new destination for weekend staycations for local Singapore guests.
