The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay announced the debut of a secret spa menu (although it's not so secret, anymore). The menu, designed to add a new layer of luxury to the spa experience, will offer guests a new way to take in the sights and sounds of the Northern California coast.
The seasonal spa experiences will take cues from the resort’s natural surroundings, mirroring the property’s emphasis on embracing the elements of the coast. There may only be a single treatment on the menu at a given time, or up to three. From full-body treatments using local farm ingredients to facials with top-of-the-line products, the one-of-a-kind experiences offer guests a new way to indulge.
Sample treatments include:
- Matanzas Creek Lavender Escape (130 minutes): inspired by Sonoma County’s Matanzas Creek Winery estate, the package begins with a fresh lavender back, hands and feet exfoliation, wrap and massage followed by a lavender facial. To top off the experience, guests receive a gift basket including a bottle of Matanzas Creek wine; bundle of fresh lavender; lavender sachets; body butter; lavender spa spritz; lavender essential oil and two Matanzas Creek Winery tasting vouchers.
- Tatcha Rituals of Japan (130 minutes): The Tatcha Rituals of Japan treatment begins with a gommage treatment to gently exfoliate and nourish the skin with black sugar fused with camellia seed, coconut, olive, and Japanese Indigo Leaf. After the sugar dries slightly, it is followed by a massage to eliminate dead skin cells. The package is topped off with a facial and a Japanese bento box of fruit and snacks.
- Diamond Facial (120 minutes): The Diamond Facial infuses the skin with diamond powder and tourmaline. Additionally, guests receive a private consultation before and after the service. The package also includes a Diamond collection gift set.
