Vancouver's Rosewood Hotel Georgia Announces Renovation Plans

Rosewood Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver closed on January 1, 2024 to undergo an extensive renovation and is slated to reopen early April. The refurbishment will encompass signature spaces throughout the hotel including the lobby and 1927 Lobby Lounge, its accommodations and the Reflections Terrace. Aligned with the new design, the property’s food and beverage concepts will also showcase refreshed culinary programs.

All 156 rooms, including the property’s 22 suites, will have interiors designed by New York City-based Lillian Wu Studio.

Designed by Vancouver-based Ste. Marie Studio, which will also be spearheading both the 1927 Lobby Lounge and Reflections Terrace, the lobby will welcome guests with refined sense of arrival, framed by marble and velvet green tones connecting both the Front Desk area and 1927 Lobby Lounge dining space. The lobby will also host a rotating lineup of entertainment to perform on select nights.

Reflections Terrace will be revamped to offer its lively atmosphere beyond the warm weather seasons. Previously a seasonal outpost, the Reflections Terrace will be open for year-round libations and dining for Vancouver residents and visitors alike beginning in June 2024. The space will reflect the landscapes enveloping the city, utilizing light wood, green accents and biophilic interior design elements complemented by a new fully retractable roof.

During the renovation period, Hawksworth Restaurant and Bel Café will remain open to visitors.
