Small Luxury Hotels Adding Asia Pacific Hotels

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has teamed up with La Vie Hotels and Resorts to offer customized hotel management services for independent luxury hotels across the Asia-Pacific region.

La Vie is an independent Australia-based hotel management company with operations across Asia Pacific. The first luxury hotel to join the SLH brand will be the Islington Hotel Hobart in Tasmania. La Vie acquired the 175-year-old, 11-room property earlier this year and will be restoring its former “stately” charm. Another collaboration project within the Asia-Pacific pipeline includes a new build in Sydney’s Surry Hills district slated to open in December.

Jerry Xu, CEO and founder of La Vie Hotels and Resorts, said the company looks forward to adding "a few more properties to SLH’s portfolio over the coming months.”

Through this partnership, SLH will provide global distribution, sales and marketing support to the hotels coming onboard.
