Viceroy Los Cabos to Host Wellness Retreat With Fitness Guru, Photographers

Viceroy Los Cabos will be hosting the its first “Through the Lens of Wellness” all-inclusive retreat taking place Thursday, February 21 to Sunday, February 24, 2019. Collaborating with experts in their respective fields, the resort has tapped nationally recognized fitness and wellness industry leader, Jen Widerstrom, and photographers, Derek and Drew Riker, to lead the immersive experience.

Motivational trainer on NBC's The Biggest Loser, fitness model, fitness director of SHAPE Magazine, and best-selling author Jen Widerstrom, will be bringing her workouts to the beaches of Cabo, where she will lead guests through fitness classes, scenic hikes and guided mindfulness exercises. Hailing from Los Angeles, twin brothers, Derek and Drew Riker, are celebrity and fashion photographers. Together, they will be sharing their knowledge and expertise with the group through mentoring sessions, photo assignments and guided seminars. 

Retreat programming will utilize the resort’s high-tech fitness center curated by celebrity fitness guru, Harley Pasternak, as well as the full-service spa. Events will include sunrise photography sessions by the ocean, hikes along the Baja California coastline and a farm-to-table dining experience at Flora Farm.

The 192-room Viceroy Los Cabos is located in San José del Cabo facing the Sea of Cortes. Resort amenities include a cinema room for movie screenings, versatile meeting spaces and numerous restaurants and bars. Upon re-opening, the property debuted a new lobby, beach pool and bar, expanded spa, rooftop bar and redesigned fitness center.
