W San Francisco is taking its guest experiences to the skies with the launch of the "Up, Up and Away" package in collaboration with Butterfly Aviation LLC, a Bay Area-based luxury helicopter company. Through the exclusive package, guests can experience top culinary offerings and wine tastings in Sonoma and Napa counties.
W San Francisco’s "Up, Up and Away" package includes ground transportation to and from the hotel to departing airports in the San Francisco region and surrounding areas, flightseeing tour over Napa Valley and Sonoma County Wine Country, touchdown at two-to-three wineries for curated tasting experiences, and culinary options at a select Wine Country restaurant. The personalized package is available seven days a week through October 24, 2020.
Butterfly Aviation has partnerships and collaborations with several of the top vintners in the area, many of whom allow Butterfly Aviation to land at their winery for a food pairing and wine experience. Top wineries include Mauritson Winery, Hirsch Vineyards, Aperture Cellars, Chalk Hill Estate Winery and other Foley properties, Martinelli Winery, Robert Mondavi Winery, Jordan Winery, J Vineyards & Winery, Arista Winery, Francis Ford Coppola Winery, and Ledson Winery & Vineyards.
Butterfly Aviation helicopters are equipped with leather seating, noise-cancelling headphones and air conditioning. The company currently operates flights to and from San Francisco International Airport, San Jose International Airport, Oakland International Airport, Gnoss Field (Novato, CA), Sacramento International Airport, Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, Ukiah Municipal Airport, and Healdsburg Municipal Airport.
