The Dominick Announces New Hires

The Dominick—a New York City hotel that was recently added to AAA’s 2019 Five Diamond Award list—has announced the appointments of Egemen Eren Kocak as director of corporate sales and Tina Santana as spa director.

Egemen Eren Kocak, in his new role, will execute the hotel’s corporate sales strategy and be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring sales and marketing programs to meet and exceed the corporate market segment’s budget. Kocak will develop corporate sales programs and strategies designed to bolster revenue, solicit new business endeavors, and oversee the management of corporate accounts, including liaising with Preferred Hotels and Resorts for the corporate transient segment.

Tina Santana, in her new role, will oversee the transformation of the spa into the first BABOR Signature Spa in the country. Santana will manage operations to provide customized and tailored services for spa guests.

Kocak holds over six years of experience in the corporate sales realm. Prior to his role at The Dominick, he served as the Regional Corporate Sales Manager at sbe in London, where he managed the top producing portfolio for the company. Kocak’s past expertise also includes residencies at Ciragan Palace Kempinski and at Grand Hyatt Istanbul.

Santana previously served as the General Manager at Equinox Bryant Park, and the Group and Events Manager at The Setai Club and Spa Wall Street. In both roles, Santana developed an understanding of the sales and marketing space for spas by fostering relationships with the local community and repeat guests, something she strives to continue at The Dominick.
