DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. has announced new itineraries for 2025 and 2026. The trips include additions to DuVine’s classic offerings, focused on guided bicycling in Europe’s emerging destinations, as well as an expanded selection of chef-led tours focused on culinary immersion, plus a pair of new trips in Northern Spain designed to coincide with the 2026 total solar eclipse.
New 2025 Destinations
- “Germany + Austria Bike Tour” (Level 2): Guests will visit Bavarian King Ludwig’s castles, including Neuschwanstein (the “Sleeping Beauty” castle) and enjoy both Michelin-star dining and Bavarian hospitality, whether at a historic Abbey brewery or a family farmstead producing raw milk cheeses.
- “Greece Bike Tour” (Level 3): On this itinerary, guests cycle on coastal roads around the entire length of the lesser-known Mani Peninsula. Highlights include lunch with a local chef; olive oil tasting at an ancient farm; and stays at two luxury properties including the Kinsterna Hotel overlooking Monemvasia.
“Chef on Wheels” Culinary Itineraries
DuVine has introduced three new destinations this year. Each of these trips partners with a local chef who introduces travelers to farmers, foragers, and fishermen on an active culinary adventure.
- “Basque Country Chef on Wheels Bike Tour” (Level 3): Guests spend six days with “Chef on Wheels” Mikel Olaizola, a Basque native who trained in Michelin kitchens from Japan to Denmark before joining the Basque Culinary Center faculty with expertise in food science and R&D. Chef Olaizola opens doors at his favorite restaurants, wineries, farms and artisan producers: meet the matriarch of a legendary fishing family in the seaside town of Getaria and bar-hop for pintxos in San Sebastián.
- “Provence Chef on Wheels Bike Tour” (Level 3): Chef Katia Mandelbaum leads an epicurean immersion into the heart of Provence. Notably, guests will unpack once at La Maison Papillons, a restored family-run farmhouse in Montclus. Highlights include a ride along the Cèze River to a weekly village market; a zero-waste cooking class with Chef Mandelbaum; a tasting of amphora-aged wine at a 13th-century château; and a rendezvous with a goat cheese farmer.
- “Puglia Chef on Wheels Bike Tour” (Level 2): Guests will discover Puglia with Chef Giuseppe Franco, a native Apulian who served as Chef de Cuisine at Denny Imbroisi’s IDA in Paris and now teaches at L’École Ducasse. Guests benefit from access to Franco’s network of local chefs, sommeliers and small producers, and enjoy homemade lunch in the countryside.
2026 Solar Eclipse Tours in Spain
For the first time since 1905, a total solar eclipse will take place in over northern Spain in the summer of 2026. DuVine’s eclipse tours lead travelers directly into the path of this celestial phenomenon.
- “Mallorca Eclipse Bike Tour” (Level 3): From the Serra de Tramuntana mountains to coastal climbs on the Cap de Formentor and Puig Major, guests pedal some of the pros’ favorite training through Pollença, Port de Sóller, Valldemossa and Port d’Andratx. On the day of the eclipse, local guides arrange a sol y sombra soirée, bringing cyclists to the best viewpoint in the region to watch as the moon overtakes the sun before retreating to the La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, Mallorca.
- “Basque Country + Rioja Eclipse Bike Tour” (Level 2): This trip includes biking a portion of the Camino de Santiago; a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Monastery of Yuso; and a meal at Francis Paniego’s two-Michelin-star restaurant. Rides through Temparanillo and Garanacha vineyards culminate on August 12, 2026 with an eclipse celebration and picnic dinner.
The departure dates for the solar eclipse tours are August 9–14, 2026.
Good to know: All trips are paired with luxury accommodations, refined culinary experiences and regional wine.
